Each completed check gets an impact level: healthy, notice, warning, or critical. Checks that haven't finished, are locked, or were skipped don't count toward the score.
Every check also has a fixed importance weight (high / medium / low) — a broken robots.txt file weighs more than a missing image alt tag, for example. The health score is a weighted average across every scored check, expressed as an integer from 0 to 100.
On each audit section tab, the sidebar checklist shows every check with a status icon:
- Locked (amber lock) — needs Google Search Console connected
- Critical (red) / Warning (amber) / Notice (blue) / Healthy (green) — the check ran and found this result
- Checking (spinning) — still in progress
The Overview page also shows a before/after comparison against your previous audit — checks that improved are marked Resolved, and any that got worse are marked Regressed, alongside your overall score change.
