Cookie Policy
This page lists every cookie SearchVitals sets on this website, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time. It expands on section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
1. What a Cookie Is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. On a return visit the browser sends it back, which is how a site can recognise a session, remember a language choice, or count a returning visitor. Some cookies are set by us, and some by a third-party service we embed.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These keep the site working and cannot be switched off. They hold your session, your language preference, the CSRF token that protects forms from being submitted by another site, and the record of your own cookie choices.

3. Analytics Cookies (Off Until You Accept)
We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised session replays and heatmaps. We read these for one reason: to find where people get stuck in our free tools so we can fix it. Clarity is loaded only after you accept this category — decline, and its script is never executed at all.

Clarity may also set cookies on its own clarity.ms domain. Those are outside this website's control and can be removed through your browser's site-data settings. Microsoft's handling of the data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
4. What We Do Not Use
We set no advertising or retargeting cookies, we run no ad networks, and we do not sell or share cookie data with data brokers. The free tools on this site work without an account and without any analytics consent.
5. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
Open — also linked in the footer of every page — to change your choices at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: switching analytics back off deletes the _clck and _clsk cookies immediately.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site from working.
6. Policy Updates
If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, this page and the consent banner are updated at the same time, and you will be asked for consent again where the change requires it.
