Troubleshooting Google Search Console connection issues

Common Search Console connection errors — "No GSC properties found" and property/domain mismatches — and how to fix each one.

"No GSC properties found" — your Google account connected successfully, but Search Console doesn't show any verified properties for it. Make sure your website is actually added and verified at search.google.com/search-console under that same Google account, then reconnect.

"That Search Console property doesn't match this website's domain" — you picked a verified property that belongs to a different domain than the website you're setting up. Go back and choose the property for the exact URL shown on the setup page.

"Could not connect Google Search Console. Please try again." — usually means the Google consent screen was closed or denied. Just start the connection again.

If none of these match what you're seeing, disconnect and reconnect from scratch — see How to disconnect or switch your Google account.
